Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi's Marriage: A Significant Event in Pakistani Politics and Society

 Bushra Bibi is the third wife of Imran Khan. The couple got married in February 2018 in a private ceremony at Khan's residence in Bani Gala, Islamabad. Bushra Bibi was previously married and had five children from her previous marriage.



Their marriage created a lot of media attention and speculation due to the timing and circumstances of the marriage, as well as the age difference between the two. However, the couple has largely kept their personal life private and away from the media spotlight.

The marriage was also unique in the sense that it took place during Bushra Bibi's iddat period, which is the period of waiting for a divorced or widowed Muslim woman before she can remarry. This created a controversy in some circles, as some religious scholars and conservatives believed that Imran Khan violated the Islamic rules by marrying Bushra Bibi during her iddat period.


Despite the controversy, Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi have been leading a private life since their marriage, and there have been very few public appearances or statements from the couple regarding their relationship.
